About Bastrop County and Our Club
Bastrop County is located on State highways 71, 95, 21, and 304 just east of Austin.
The Colorado River bisects the county from northwest to southeast, and near the river, the Lost Pine Forest extends through an east central section of the county.
Bastrop County is home to over 74,000 residents residing in and around the towns of Bastrop, Elgin, and Smithville.
Our club was founded on January 10, 1999 with 35 charter members, one of which is still a member to this very day (Cindy Sharp).
